Whirlwind Romance

This song started life as a folky little thing on my acoustic guitar. My early demos of the song weren't really working though and when the awesome Steve Duffy offered to play drums on one of my tracks, it seemed the perfect candidate. Steve tracked his drum parts at his studio and I built the song up around his groove (I may or may not have watched a documentary on R.E.M around then too), the song title ultimately inspiring the swirling romantic strings in the chorus. The video was shot in my new studio at around 1am one morning and all the lighting is provided by my PC monitor. Apologies for the scary eyes and my face.
