Timed Out
I had picked up an old, cheap Stratocaster guitar from ebay and spent a month or so fixing it up. Around the same time, my new Positive Grid Spark amp arrived. The tones I got out of the new guitar together with the new amp inspired me to write and record this old, bluesy style track. Aside from an attempt to draw a parallel between humans and web page timeouts, the song is about trying to have patience. You’re holding out for someone, you keep holding out for them and when you finally realise it's never going to happen, you have to move on.
